Don Jazzy is alive and well, hits back at wicked death report hmmmmm.

Yesterday some random person with access to the internet, posted a message of Facebook claiming that producer & Mavin boss Don Jazzy had died in a tragic car accident. The jobless poster called Ogbonna Ikechukwu even went into detail about the so called “death” writing that Don Jazzy was rushed to the hospital but did not make it.

The heartless report made it’s way to Don Jazzy who shared a screenshot of it on his Instagram page, assuring his fans and anyone who might have seen the report that he is alive and well! He wrote, “May GOD continue to keep us alive and well. Amen. Well I am very much alive and have not been in any car accident I can remember. Thanks. #Mavin”

His followers responded to the wicked post with prayers of long life for the Mavin boss followed by curses for the originator of the post.

Christ Embassy Church Founding Member, Reveals More About Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Cyla Simpson, a founding member of Christ Embassy shared this on the "Where is Rev Anita Oyakhilome' Facebook page.

“I am writing this to everyone with a heavy heart. It is heart wrenching to see the way people are referring to Rev Anita and how uncultured people are while talking. You don’t need to be derogatory or condescending to express yourself no matter your level as a christian. First I would join true Christians around the world to appeal to Rev Anita but would say listen to God rather than man.

I want to appeal to everyone to please pause and think deep because whatever a man sow, he shall surely reap. This is like beating a child like Ibo elders will say and still take the tears from the child.

Take a step aside and think. Is there a woman who will give up her home on flimsy excuse, if no why are we so callous and insensitive in this matter. I am a married woman and so are many reading this, or you have a mother, a sister or daughter. If you are happy for them to go through whatever brought Rev Anita to this level please continue with your judgemental approach towards her. And the God of truth will visit everyone with same except if there was no cause. Amen!!!

I have read some accusing her of money and power motivation. PLEASE LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE PASTOR ANITA I KNOW AS MOST OF YOU YOUNG ONES IN NIGERIA DO NOT HAVE MUCH OF AN ENCOUNTER WITH HER. Rev Anita has been my pastor for about 13 years now. I am one of the founding members of her church and I have seen her grow a church from using all any available venue while planting more churches in faith sending her best member out to start a new church, from two churches in England has grown to churches in almost every borough and cities. Rev Anita will see anyone and everyone regardless of your status.

If she ever kept you waiting, she will apologise profusely throughout the meeting and make it good to you. Rev Anita without an office will still counsel us even in her car on Wednesday night after church yet she has 1hour 30mins drive back home with 2 young girls. For so long she was driving a volkswagon golf until 2005 that we bought her a BMW X3 and she still refused to drive it for many months until she was begged to use it so that we can be blessed. She used the same car until 2010/2011 and the replacement she had then is still what she used till her last day in church last year.

We begged her to come around for us to celebrate her birthday but she will still go into hiding. On her return, the little song we will do for her, she will return it to Rev Chris in thanksgiving. Any money you give her she sends it straight to church account or Loveworld TV. If we ever raise money for her birthday she ask us to go and use it for evangelism or send it to Loveworld TV. When you give her any material thing, regardless of the shop you purchased it, she will use it for you to see and thank you as long as she sees you for the gift.

At Christmas, while service was on up to 2013 christmas she will give almost everyone in church gift. Foodstuff will be dropped at your side as service. She will specially take care of the elderly, help you settle down when you arrive in the country. No barren left without children as she will make it her project until it happens. So how come people came up with this terrible accusation. You accused her of being rude to some CEC members. Wow. This is wicked. First for so long, she was the Vice President and others have other positions. I thought husband and wife are one.

She raised 2 girls in this society and the 2 girls are admirable, humble, down-to-earth children. They are children not a reflection of the home they grew. Pastor Chris was not around. He came to our church on Fathers’ Day sometimes ago and he told us one of the daughters’ requested for it as her birthday gift – how touching and how she treasures her dad’s presence. She could ask for material thing but she asked for his presence and we all are here judging them. I remember these girls will politely beg me to allow them carry my baby and they will play with him and when they bring him back, they will thank me for letting them carry him and I’m surprised because I should thank them for helping me. And they do same to other mothers in the mothers’ area where we sit in church. Is it not what they saw their mum do, they are not class-freak.

I remember that visit of Pastor, Rev Tom talking said we may not value what we have. That she is the grace in the CEC. If they all condemn someone, she will see a good reason to embrace the person and she has always been right. Rev Chris said at one IPPC that most changes we see here in the ministry, she in her simple way brought them and that was the day he spoke about how she talked about the effort we put into publicity of programme but that same or more should be put in telling what the Lord did in that programme when its over. So what changed now, because she is asking for a change.

I have read all the messages here by some writers, the news is all over our church and I have taken my time to find out what is really happening and to the much available, below are the things Rev Anita is asking for:

She told Rev Chris that you are such an organised person, you give us almost a full year calendar on Dec 31st of every year, please put the family in the timetable too.

The times you don’t have any engagement, please come home. I need you and the children need you. Please bear in mind she has been here since 1999 and she was just about 30 years old then as a married woman with 2 children. So for almost 16 years of her marriage, no husband at home for straight 1 week, no dad at home for the children. No christmas, yet he has party with the staff that we all watch at Christmas. Even Jesus always withdrew from the crowd to fellowship with his father.

She asked Rev Chris that on hearing of the immorality, ‘not holding it against you but let all these ladies move out of White House and go and get houses outside.

They are rich enough to buy houses at their place of choice if they don’t already have one and allow them marry. Who benefits from this choice, is it not everyone? So which is her offence in this. And Rev Chris did not agree to it. The brothers even said they went to have meeting with him in South Africa to beg him to at least meet her half-way but he refused. 2 public responses are the emergency Bible study after their meeting with him titled – Spirit of Error and Spirit of Truth, please flash back at this meeting or relisten to it and after so much call in the UK for him to produce our mother, he had meeting with our pastors and deacons in May and it is recorded that many left the meeting weeping for the way he described our mother that some have had lifetime experience with.”

Another Ebola patient dies in Port Harcourt, fears mount

An ill doctor in southern Nigeria exposed dozens of people to the Ebola virus by continuing to treat patients before his death, the World Health Organization warned Wednesday.

A man who had had contact with the ill visitor later evaded his surveillance and traveled to the oil hub of Port Harcourt where he triggered a second cluster of cases.

A Port Harcourt doctor and another patient there are now dead, and the doctor’s widow and sister are sick with Ebola. About 60 other people are under surveillance after having “high-risk” or “very high-risk” contact with the infected doctor, WHO said. More than 140 others are also being monitored.

“Given these multiple high-risk exposure opportunities, the outbreak of Ebola virus disease in Port Harcourt has the potential to grow larger and spread faster than the one in Lagos,” WHO warned.

Nigeria’s health minister has said there is no reason for people to panic in Port Harcourt.

The U.N. health agency, though, said it feared civil unrest and public fear of Ebola could further the crisis, saying “military escorts are needed for movements into the isolation and treatment center.”

Nigeria’s Ebola toll so far has been limited in comparison to Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea where hundreds have died in each country. Nigerian authorities say five people have died in Lagos, and the doctor in Port Harcourt and the other fatality there bring the national toll to seven.

The man who infected the Port Harcourt doctor was later found after a four-day manhunt and is recovering.

WHO said Wednesday that the physician continued to see patients after the onset of Ebola symptoms and even operated on two people. Ebola is transmitted through direct contact with bodily fluids, and health authorities say patients are only contagious once they show symptoms.

“Prior to hospitalization, the physician had numerous contacts with the community, as relatives and friends visited his home to celebrate the birth of a baby,” WHO said in a statement.

“Once hospitalized, he again had numerous contacts with the community, as members of his church visited to perform a healing ritual said to involve the laying on of hands. During his six-day day period of hospitalization, he was attended by the majority of the hospital’s health care staff.”

The announcement from WHO did not specify whether the health care staff wore gloves or other protective gear when treating him.

Getting protective gear to health workers in the affected areas and ensuring that they receive hazard pay are top priorities for combatting the crisis, said Dr. David Nabarro, who is coordinating the U.N. response to the outbreak.

Doctors and nurses have been especially vulnerable to Ebola because they work closely with Ebola patients, whose bodily fluids spread the virus. Dr. Rick Sacra, 51, from the Boston area, is currently infected in Liberia, his missionary organization said Wednesday.

Two other Americans already have been evacuated back to the United States and have recovered from Ebola. Both received an experimental drug known as ZMapp. The company has said that all of its doses are now exhausted, and it will be months before more can be made.

It is also still not clear if the drug is effective, since human trials have not yet been carried out. Two of the people who received ZMapp died, while five others survived.

MEMORISE: Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy; 2 Timothy 1:4

READ: Acts 4:36-37
36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,
37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
MESSAGE:

Two peculiar perils that confront Christian Leadership are discouragement and undue elation. A spiritual leader is in peril of being unduly depressed by inevitable times of discouragement and being unduly elated by inevitable days of uplifting experiences and achievements. Both of these seasons are experienced in every work for God. It is important for a spiritual leader to be watchful in seasons when everything goes well, when goals are reached, when planned endeavours are crowned with success, when the Spirit moves, souls are saved and saints are blessed. At such times, a mature leader should know on whose brow to place the crown of achievements. He should be careful not to arrogate to himself the glory that belongs to God alone. There are also moments of discouragement. These are seasons when everything seems not to be going well, when goals are frustrated, when planned endeavours flop, when the Spirit refuses to move and worship services seem insipid and lifeless. At such times, a leader needs encouragement. He should however be careful not to misbehave. Someone summed up what should be the attitude of a wise leader at moments of elation and discouragement in these cryptic words: “If successful, do not crow; if defeated do not croak”. Everyone needs encouragement. Everyone needs assistance. Everyone needs comfort. Everyone needs the prayers of others. Apostle Paul knew this truth when he requested in Ephesians 6:18-19 that brethren should pray for him. Are you a source of encouragement or an instrument of discouragement to your leader? There are several ways Christians can encourage their leaders. One is by obedience. Obey your leader. Make his work easy, enjoyable and interesting for him. Demonstrate that you love him. Be his friend.

“Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” John 15:14

Another way to encourage your leader is through voluntary service. Render assistance to your leader. Do whatever you can to boost his ministry and ensure that it flourishes. Use your talents, gifts and material resources for the furtherance of the work entrusted into the hands of your leader. Be sacrificial in your service. The dispensing of encouragement should however be reciprocal. Just as subordinates are expected to encourage their leaders, leaders should also encourage their subordinates. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in Luke 8:2-3 was encouraged by Mary Magdalene and some other women who ministered to him out of their resources. However, before these women could minister to him, Jesus had encouraged them by his own ministration of salvation, healing and deliverance. Additionally, a spiritual leader is a father, and fathers are enjoined in the scriptures not to provoke or frustrate their children (Ephesians 6:4). Do not deny them their rights and privileges.

Prayer Point: Father, help me to be an encourager.

Some Very Silly Things Girls Should Stop Doing

I just don’t know why many of us indulge in these irritating behaviors

1. Asking a guy you just met for recharge card
This is very annoying. It makes you look cheap. A guy met you in the afternoon, gave you a call in the evening and you are already asking
him to send you a recharge card. Trust me, that guy can never respect you. He might eventually send you the recharge card, but the only thing on his mind would be to sleep with you once or twice and get rid of you.

2. Judging a guy by his looks
I believe guys should be the ones that should be hell bent on beauty and physical appearance. Dont fall for a guy chiefly because he looks good physically. You need to access his acumen, sense of judgment, level-headedness, dreams etc. What makes a good guy is by far more than just looks.

3. Having s*x with a guy the day you met him
This is uncalled for. You automatically lose some respect if you allow this guy to get down with you the first day you met him. Little kisses here and there and some cuddling would do, if you are tempted, let him feel your bosoms just to get yourself wet. The longer you make a guy wait, the more he will appreciate you and value your body. No one values what he gets easily.

4. Pouting of lips to take a selfie

Do we have to do this? Its so disgusting. Okay fine, I am guilty of this too and am going to stop. Every picture of a girl on facebook shows her pouting her lips to look pretty. This doesn’t make us look prettier; it only make us look childish. I didnt realise it makes me look like a kid until my boyfriend told me 5 days ago.

5. Manipulating a guy to over spend for you on a date.
Because he looks rich and came to the eatery in a car makes you feel you can drain his pocket abi. This instantaneously tells the guy that you are a hungry girl and from a very poor background. Cant you just order for just one ice cream or a soft drink and be fine with this cool dude. Even if you do not like him, do not do this. Trust me, the guy will never call you again and if he does he only wants to get laid just once. The worst is taking your friend along so that you can both finish him.

6. Forcing yourself on a guy that doesn’t give a damn about you
If a guy likes you, he will show it. Dont you ever force yourself on a guy. You can indicate some green lights but don’t force yourself on him. If you do he will treat you like poo. I have read some post here on Nairaland telling girls how to woo a guy. Dont try it. There are a million subtle ways to make him see that you like him than forcing yourself on him and asking him out outrightly.

7. Keeping too many boyfriends
Cant we just be cool with one guy we love? 8 boyfriends equals to 8 Joysticks. Jesus Christ! How many guys are combing you?

8. Excessive Make Up
Excessive make up make us look like masquerades, ojuju calabar like Tiwa Savage. Trust me, guys dont like girls with excessive make-ups. I have heard guys say it more than a thousand times how much they hate excessive make up on ladies. Look natural and if you must apply make ups, make it very lite.

WTF!!! Orezi And Lil Kesh Fight In The Club

A mild drama ensued on tuesday evening when two upcoming stars which have the hit dance tune ‘shoki’ to their names took to their fists in a ‘no love’ situation at Quinox lounge.

The superstar pairs of Orezi and Lil Kesh were detained by private security when the fight broke out.

Eyewitnesses say it all started when the dj played lil kesh’s Shoki following his entrance into the club, infuriating Orezi who was previously in the club.

Speaking to FNN, Orezi said “what the dj did was unthinkable, I mean I released the hit first and so it should be on a first come first serve basis, and the lil thwart or whatever he calls him self was making noise (in the club), so I had to stone his mouth with a pair of my J’s”.

Lil kesh in return stoned Orezi with a handkerchief filled with ice blocks much to the amusement of fellow clubbers.

Runs girl, Tola who was a witness said, me I no care who sabi dance am pass or sing am first, but na Lil kesh pay for my drink so I use him handkerchief.

With ice block massage him lips wey Orezi stone with him J’s, na so he carry am stone Orezi punk commot for the guy head, na so the fight start.

Quinox manager said ‘my drinks sold enh as people started trooping in to watch the fight before security could break the two lads up, I think shoki has a karate move because Lil Kesh used it on Orezi’

Christ Embassy Church Issues Gets Hotter As Pastor Oyakhilome's Brother Rev. Ken, Impregnates His South African Mistress

The crisis rocking the Christ Embassy Church is about to get messier as The Nigerian Times claims that Rev. Ken Oyakhilome, younger brother of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder of the Church has also been accused of fornication and adultery.

Last week, reports emerged in the media that Rev. Anita, wife of the charismatic and ‘pastorpreneuer,’ popularly known as Pastor Chris, had filed for divorce in the UK, citing ‘adultery’ and ‘unreasonable behaviour.’ As the news made the round, it was met with disbelief by members of the Christ Embassy Church who revere Pastor Chris and were in the dark on the marital crises facing the couple.

Now the scandal may even get worse. Pastor Chris’ younger brother, known in the Church circle as Rev. Ken, was alleged to have impregnated a South African lady, name withheld, a member of the Church in Randburg, Guateng, which is the headquarters of Christ Embassy, South Africa. Rev. Ken, used to be the regional pastor of Christ Embassy in charge of South Africa until a few years when he was transferred to the branch of the church in Texas, USA.

The Nigerian Times’s sources say the romance between Rev. Ken and the member was an open secret among members of the Church in South Africa and the alleged pregnancy of the lady was said to have ruffled feathers among the top echelons of church but was hushed in order to prevent a scandal. The lady, according to sources, aborted the child with the knowledge of leaders of the church.

Like his elder brother, Rev. Ken has lived apart from his wife Pastor Ose for over ten years now. Pastor Ose used to manage the Okota, Lagos branch of the Church while her husband, Ken was the regional pastor in South Africa. The couple still lives apart today as Pastor Ose now manages the Church in South Africa while her husband, Ken is in Texas, running the church there.

Although the alleged romance between Rev Ken and the said Sister, which resulted in pregnancy, was kept a secret, the crisis in the Church involving Pastor Chris and his wife Anita, had led to many of such secrets tumbling out. Some members of the Church unhappy with happenings there had set up Facebook page, Where is Rev Anita, through which they vent their frustrations about the secrecy with which the church is run and some of the allegedly ungodly things happening there.

Find below some comments about the Rev Ken saga:

From Sister Lebogang Radibela: “It’s true, here in Johannesburg a pastor impregnated a young lady and forced her to do abortion, later on the lady was promoted to being a pastor, till today she is still a pastor, working together with the wife to the pastor who impregnated her. Members act like this is normal; I mean where we draw a line.”

From Jacob Nnoli: @Sister Lebogang Radibela, “it’s not just a pastor. it’s our darling older brother Rev Ken himself that activated the pregnancy button but it’s shocking to know that our regional pastor, Pastor Ose Oyakhilome, a mother herself supported the abortion and by (following the principle of the ) 48 laws of power, she’s keeping her close. That sounds like what an ‘area mother’ would do and to top it up, the grandfather himself Rev Chris ordained the sister a pastor and probably help seared the damaged conscience with some rands/dollars. How many more in Nigeria region? Time will fail us to speak of Asaba, Kaduna, Port Harcourt, Benin and many too numerous to mention. I had to listen to that Youtube message again this morning and I can now understand when Pastor Chris said Pastor Anita should have moved with those who will help her as the wife of global pastor. Is this what she should learn, to help Pastor Yemisi and other indicted ladies? Actually Pastor, you forgot to announce the firing of Pastor Pat, the CSO as a result of leaked White House (Pastor Chris’ residence in Lagos) information and the hiring of a brother-in-law Deacon Kingsley Osazuwa. Our darling Rev Ken, it looks like Durex, Trojan, and Gold circle condoms etc have all finished in the market because of ….May God have mercy but we need to obtain the mercy.”

Meanwhile, the London branch of the Christ Embassy Church is undergoing a major crisis which had led the Charity Commission, the body licensed to regulate charities in the UK, to take over its financial administration through the appointment of an Interim Manager. The body accused the Church Trustees of “serious concerns about the financial management of the Church, including in particular large connected payments. Since then a books and records inspection has been carried out and the regulator has obtained information from and met the trustees, however, the regulator’s concerns about the financial management of the charity have not been resolved.”

The Commission therefore used its powers under the UK Charities Act to appoint Mr. Rod Weston of Mazars as Interim Manager of the charity to the exclusion of the charity’s trustees as a temporary and protective measure. The implication is that Mr Weston is now in charge of the financial management of the Christ Embassy, UK and will deal with all matters relating to finances, to the exclusion of the pastors and staff of the Church.

A similar thing had occurred to another Nigerian-owned church, the Kingsway International Christian Centre, KICC pastored by Mathew Ashimolowo, which necessitated his relocation to Nigeria from the UK. Also the UK government barred Nigerian Pastor, David Oyedepo from entering the country, allegedly because of some unwholesome practices of its church.

50 Cent Buys Mecedes Benz For 2-Year- Old Son As Birthday Gift

Back in May, the rapper was allegedly denied access to his 16 year old son’s graduation ceremony, he blamed it on his baby mama…….

50 Cent has surprised his son on his 2nd birthday with a miniature motorized Mercedes ML450 SUV or precisely a junior version of his own ride.

According to close sources, the ‘Window Shopping’ rapper gifted his boy in Los Angeles this weekend with the sweet little car which he reportedly shopped himself.

The motorised Mercedes ML450 SUV was posted on 50′s Instagram account with a caption that read, “Lol he make me look like I’m getting soft. Lil50 trippin LMAO#SMSAUDIO #thebeauty.”

Father and son spent the weekend together eating lots of birthday cake and 50 also footed the bill for his big party on Monday.

Funny thing about this is, back in May, the rapper was denied access to his 16 year old son’s graduation ceremony. He later blamed it on his baby mama claiming he was never told about the exact date of the event. It was the same son he publicly went into a ridiculous twitter war with last year.

MEMORISE: For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. 2 Chronicles 16:9

READ: 2 Chronicles 16:7-9
7 And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the LORD thy God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand.
8 Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubims a huge host, with very many chariots and horsemen? yet, because thou didst rely on the LORD, he delivered them into thine hand.
9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
MESSAGE:

There was a king in the land of Judah called Asa, the son of Abijah (Judah comprised of two out of the twelve tribes of Israel). He reigned over Judah for forty-one years. He had a good record and was highly commended for the many wonderful things he achieved for the Lord during his tenure. The Bible in 2 Chronicles 14:2-3 says:

“And Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God: For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves:”

The above passage reveals the good works of King Asa as highly commendable, especially because at that time, Israel was in a state of apostasy. He knew the laws of God and had zeal for the things of God. He hated evil and anything that represented evil. This he exhibited by taking away the strange altars, breaking down contrary images and cutting down the groves. What more can anyone expect from King Asa but continued commitment to God. Because of King Asa’s obedience, God showed Himself strong on behalf of Judah during his reign. God fought against their enemies and sent several prophets to the king to encourage him, give him direction, and warn him of impending dangers. However, in the thirty-sixth year of King Asa’s reign, Baasha the king of Israel took up arms against Judah his brother and Asa was sore afraid. He was so afraid that he forgot the great battles the Lord had won for him in the past. Out of fear and confusion, he negotiated with Syria, giving them the treasures of the House of God as a reward for their assistance. This is where King Asa committed a foolish mistake. I pray that you will not be blind to anything capable of destroying you, your family or your future in Jesus’ Name.

The agreement King Asa had with Benhadad, king of Syria, appeared to be highly rewarding at first because it resulted in King Baasha retreating to his domain. But God said by so doing, Asa had acted foolishly. Always remember that the eyes of the Lord are running to and fro throughout the whole world to show Himself strong on behalf of anyone whose heart is perfect towards Him. Do not look at your circumstance, look unto God for survival, sustenance, support and blessings, and you will never be disappointed in Jesus’ Name.

Prayer Point: Father, please let me never fall into any circumstance that will make me negotiate or enter into an agreement with the enemies of God, in Jesus’ Name.

Open Heavens 2014: Tuesday September 2, daily devotion by Pastor E. A. Adeboye - The Light Of The World

Open Heavens 2014: Tuesday September 2, daily devotion by Pastor E. A. Adeboye - The Light Of The World

TOPIC: THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD [Tuesday September 2, 2014]

MEMORISE: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12

READ: John 1:4-9
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
MESSAGE:

Darkness is the partial or total absence of light. It is a place of confusion, secrecy or mystery. Darkness stands for lack of spiritual or intellectual enlightenment, and represents wickedness or evil. Children of God must have nothing to do with darkness. Moreover, light is the natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible. Light is a source of illumination and it represents a condition of spiritual awareness. It liberates and gives direction. Light reveals. Every true child of God must seek to have the light of God - Jesus is the light of God. Jesus declared in John 8:12 that: ”I am the light of the world, he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life“. He was actually making a very important statement that has its roots in the spiritual realm. Light and darkness both have physical manifestations, but they have their roots in the spirit realm.

The book of Genesis opened with darkness upon the face of the deep, and the first thing God did was to replace the darkness with light by the power of His Word. The work of creation could not proceed until there was light.

Jesus used the concept of “following the light” to minister to the Jews because it was a concept they could relate with. When God brought them out of Egypt, He led them through the wilderness with a pillar of fire by night so that they could travel far whenever the need arose (Exodus 13:21). Jesus used this to clearly illustrate that He alone can offer security, illumination and meaning in this dark world we live in. Jesus as the Light of the world offers life, revelation, grace, peace, understanding and spiritual awakening to those who are lost in the dark. I pray that everyone who is confused or lost in the darkness of this world will receive illumination and the revelation of the Lord Jesus today, in Jesus’ Name. The Bible while talking about the brevity of time in John 12:35-36 says:

“Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.”

Therefore, time waits for no man; tomorrow may be too late. Today is the day of salvation; come to the light of Jesus today.

Prayer Point: Father, You are the light of the world. Let the light of your gospel shine in every heart, community and nation, in Jesus’ Name.

18 Ways To Catch A Cheating Partner [A Must Read For All Guys]

Once your partner thinks you don’t suspect them anymore, use these 18 signs and ways to catch a cheating partner to catch your lover in the act!

#1 Watch the signs. Do you see a change in your partner’s behavior recently? Have they started working out, dressing better, or started using a new seductive intense evening perfume? They may have no reason for the changes, and almost always, these changes may seem very spontaneous.

#2 Drop by unannounced. Every now and then, drop by unannounced to their workplace or come back home early. Don’t make it obvious that you’re just spying on them. Instead, always have a great excuse to walk in unannounced. If your partner is cheating on you, the first thing they’d do *instead of welcoming you with a smile* is hide something or appear surprised or even angry! [Read: 3 big reasons and 27 excuses behind why men cheat!]

#3 Check their recycle bin. The garbage is a great place to dispose of things. And sometimes, it also has a lot of clues. If your partner is on the computer often, check the computer’s recycle bin often. Chances are, there may be another person’s photo or a little snippet of information that could be of some use.

#4 Snoop on their phone. Does your partner carry their cell phone with them wherever they go, even if it’s a trip to the loo? If that’s happening in your relationship, there’s a good chance your partner’s up to something. Take a peek into their cell phone when you get the chance, especially when they’ve put the phone on charge.

Erased phone logs, a password protected phone, several calls to the same unknown numbers, or phone bills without detailed call information are all good signs that your partner is trying to hide something. [Read: 25 reasons why women cheat so easily on their man]

#5 Spontaneous s*x. This works better if you’re a girl, and dating a guy. If your boyfriend or husband comes home late from any unexpected delay, try to have spontaneous s*x with them when they get back home. If your guy gets angry, pushes you away or tries avoiding it at all costs, chances are, he may be exhausted down there. He could always wash himself up before getting home, but getting it up immediately and blowing a huge load, that’s not the easiest thing to do!
#6 Follow after a fight. Most cheating partners intentionally try to pick fights, slam the door and walk away, because it makes a great excuse to slip out of the house and meet their adulterous lover. If your partner’s been picking fights and walking out of the house often recently, try to follow them on the pretense of apologizing *if they see you following them*. [Read: 10 tips to fight fair in love and get closer after a fight]

#7 Change your sleeping habits. If your partner’s cheating on you, their sleeping habits may change almost overnight. They may stay up longer using the excuse of work, or you may catch them sneaking around the house late at night. Pretend like you’re asleep as soon as you hit the bed, and try to see if your partner’s up to something. Do they get out of bed for long periods of time?

And it’s not just late nights you need to think about. Some cheating partners may even wake up really early and get on the phone, especially if they realize you suspect them.

#8 Does your partner want space? Space is something all of us need in a relationship, whether we accept it or not. But has your partner started getting fiercely protective about their space recently? Do they hate answering questions about where they’ve been or what they’ve been up to? It’s definitely a small warning sign. [Read: How to give the right kind of space and prevent your partner from straying]

#9 They get jumpy. Try walking in on your partner when they least expect it without announcing yourself, especially if they’ve been by themselves for a while. Does your partner act jumpy or nervous when you walk in on them, especially if they’re over the phone or in front of their computer? They were probably doing something and they don’t want you to know what it was.

#10 Changes in schedule. All of a sudden, your partner may stay out a lot of nights on work, or have a lot of get-togethers on their social calendar with their friends. If your partner doesn’t ever invite you with their friends, or if they claim to be very busy working and still look fresh and happy when they get home, your partner’s probably up to something. [Read: 18 emotional affair signs you probably didn't even notice!]

#11 The phone etiquette. Your partner suddenly needs a lot of space while talking over the phone. They either sound awkward or they walk away from you to the next room while talking over the phone with a few people. You may even find text messages from random numbers with random texts in them.

Remember, when people cheat, they could always store the other lover’s number under another name, and use code words to interact with each other when they miss each other!

#12 Gadgets. Your partner has changed most of their passwords, even if you thought you knew all of them. And even when you ask them for the new password, they make an excuse to hide it from you. And sometimes, you may see that they position their computer facing away from you, and they would never do that before. [Confessions: Having an unexpected affair with a married man turned me into a home wrecker!]

#13 Grooming habits. Hitting the gym, wearing new clothes and perfume are all signs your partner wants to look better. But are they going overboard with their appearances? Has your partner started grooming themselves down there meticulously all of a sudden, even though they aren’t keen on doing something with you?

#14 Sneaking away. Does your partner sneak out of the house every now and then, using the silliest of excuses? “I’m driving down to the store to get something…” “My friends are catching up around the corner…” “I’m bored, I’m going for a drive…” or something along those lines?

That’s alright though. But when you offer to tag along, what does your partner say? Do they make an excuse to go alone? That’s fishy, don’t you think? [Read: Emotional cheating and 10 bad ways it can ruin a cheater's life]

4 shady and sneaky unethical ways to catch a cheating lover

Now the earlier 14 signs would definitely help you find out if your partner’s cheating on you with someone else. But if you want to nail them, you’re going to have to catch them in the act. And there’s no way you can do that unless you walk in on your partner with the person they’re cheating on you with. But if you do choose to go spy-mode and use a few unethical ways, here are four ways to nail your partner’s cheating backside in no time.

But try these ways only if you’re already certain your partner’s cheating on you. These steps are great to catch them, but if they aren’t cheating on you and it was just a false alarm, your partner may feel extremely hurt by your actions! [Read: Should you ever confess to cheating on your partner?]

#15 Hidden cameras. Place a spycam in the room where your partner hangs out most often when they want alone time. If they’re over the phone or doing some funny business behind your back, you’ll know soon enough.

#16 Create a fake profile. Create a fake profile and log on to websites that promote cheating spouses and see if your partner’s using one of them. Or for starters, just create a fake facebook profile and add a lot of random friends to make your account seem legitimate.

And then, send an invite to your partner and get friendly with them. And over a few days or weeks, start flirting with them and see how they respond to you. Are they interested in meeting up or hooking up? [Read: Is revenge s*x a good way to get back at a cheating partner?]

#17 Keyloggers. Keyloggers are software that you can download off the net *some free and some for a price*. Some of these keyloggers, especially the paid versions, can be installed in a computer and the person using it would never know it’s running in the background.

These programs can record whatever you want, the passwords they use, the letters they type, the pages they visit, or even record a video of the screen as they use the computer. You can also download a few paid apps over your phone and install a secret app in your partner’s phone to keep track of their calls too. [Read: How to end an affair and get over it completely]

#18 GPS device. Are you the one who wants to catch your partner red handed? Then the stalker mode may work for you! Pick up a tiny GPS device that can be fixed to the underside of your partner’s car. You can track their movements and pounce on them when their pants are around their ankles in a sleazy motel out of town! [Read: How to confess to cheating on your partner the right way]

Use these 18 ways on how to catch a cheating partner, and there’s no way a cheater can get away with their adulterous ways. But remember, don’t use the last four ways unless you’re certain your partner’s cheating on you already and you just want to confront them in the act!

Why use vibrators, when there are able men — Chika Oguine

Voluptuous up-and-coming Nollywood star, Chika Agatha Oguine popularly known as Chika Agatha is fast becoming a face that cannot be ignored in the movie industry, both for her talent and captivating figure. Chika recently caused an uproar when her pictures, revealing massive boobs surfaced on the internet.

The Sex on the Beach, Sons of Zebedee star in this exclusive interview with Showtime Celebrity, talks about her career, sex and relationship. Excerpts:

For people who don’t know you, briefly introduce yourself?

My name is Chika Agatha Oguine even though the media somehow has decided to throw away my surname and just tag me Chika Agatha

When did you start acting?

I started acting in 2012. That was the year I left school, University of Nigeria. 2012 was also my service year too, so instead of just wasting my time doing nothing in the Federal Ministry office where I was posted for my primary assignment as a youth corper, I decided to take a step forward, come down to Lagos after to pursue my dream.

How has it been so far?

It’s been so good. I can’t even believe that within two years, I have gotten to this point where people will call in and say “I saw your movie on Dstv, I watched you on AIT” and there was even this soap Sons of Zebedee that was shown in the UK. When my cousins from the UK called me, I was like, ‘Are you serious? Am I that big now?’

So, I’m in between finding how to get a balance so my name doesn’t even grow bigger than I am, because there is going to be a big problem in my mind if my name is bigger than me. I believe I ought to be bigger than my name and not the other way round. I’m trying to stay on top of things but everything is happening so fast- it’s been God all the way

What would you say is your most successful movie so far?

For the most successful, I can’t really say because most of the movies I’ve done are not even aired in Nigeria to start with. So, the only ones they’ve seen are all those commercial movies that are not shown in the cinemas and the ones that were done for the cinemas are not yet out. So, if you ask my most successful movie, I can’t really say for now because all of them are not out.

What is your latest movie?

Sex on the Beach, starring myself, Moyo Lawal, Mercy Macjoe, Sam Sunny, Ero Josh.  It’s in the market right now. Every video vendor or film shop should have the movie Sex on the Beach and Temple of the Serpent. They’re like the latest movies in which I featured out in the market now. I’ve been getting so many comments on my facebook page and on different social platforms.

Who inspired you to go into acting?

It’s just been there since my cradle days. It’s something that I just felt I’m going to end up doing because I have always watched myself grown in front of a mirror, looking at myself and making some faces and all.

But then again, when I watched movies, I try to see why this person did this and that. What was the character? I tried to mimic those things that they did and tried to see if I could get close to what they’ve done or to see if I really did it well the way they did it. So, it’s just about me finding what I like to do. Sometimes, when I watch a movie, I get lost in it.

I’m not aware of my immediate environment. That is what makes me happy. I find happiness when it comes to art and media. I’m not talking about acting alone but entertainment as a whole. It makes me happy and I think whatever makes you happy will fetch you good money.

You recently released some bikini photos of yourself online. Where did you take those photos?

How Linda Ikeji got my pictures, I don’t know. To tell you the truth, those pictures were from the set of Sex on the Beach and I wasn’t the only person wearing bikini.

We had the likes of Moyo Lawal wearing bikini, most of us were all wearing bikinis but it was just me posted online by Linda Ikeji and I got calls saying ‘Chika, I saw your pictures on Lindaikeji’ . Some even said I paid Linda to put my pictures. I don’t know who Lindaikeji is. This is my phone, you can check. I don’t have her contact. I’ve not even seen her before in my life. People even have Lindaikeji app on their phone, I don’t even have it.

At first, I was shocked and I kept on calling my friends, I just kept on calling people who I know probably must have posted the pictures but all of them said they weren’t the ones.

I called my publicist and he said he wasn’t the one. It is still a mystery to me up to now, I do not know. But whoever did that sure has done so much good for me because at a point, I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is bad press but someone told me, my dear, there’s nothing like bad press in Nollywood’. So, I’m now beginning to adjust to it and its okay, its fine.

Your boobs are very big, are they natural?

I’ve never ever dreamt of going under the knife, whether for my boobs or for my body. I think God has created me perfectly. I am beautiful and I know that. I don’t need to go under the knife to enhance anything on my body. I just need to stay in shape, keep fit and that’s it. I’m good to go.

What’s your bra size?

The last I checked, it was a 44DD.

Do you think your boobs assist you in getting movie roles?

I’ve never heard in Nollywood where your boobs or your physical features get you a role. There are so many people out there who have bigger boobs but that’s not the key. This acting thing is a craft that you always have to keep improving on.

You always have to keep in trend and keep up with new challenges. In this business, if you have nothing to offer, nobody would call you. It does not matter whether you have big boobs or big bumbum, it doesn’t really matter but then again, it is just an added advantage. But the most important thing is to know your craft, then every other physical value can follow.

Can you go nude in a movie?

I’m not going to go nude in our Nigerian movies because it’s not in our culture.

I mean who wants to see you in a nude movie here and still say you’re a good person? People would have to make criticisms. Have you watched Twelve Years a Slave? Did you see the part where Lupita Nyong’o had to go naked when she had to receive some lashes of the whip on her back? That is technical directing.

She was nude but there was no clear view she was actually nude. It was professional. If I have someone like that who is ready to direct me in that kind of movie and I have a team of people that are very professional in the acting thing, Why not? I would take a shot. I would take all my shots to be on that set but you can’t expect me to act nude in Nigerian movies. I will not go nude, totally nude like, no pant or bra, for any movie in Nigeria.

In a recent interview you said don’t believe in love, why?

I have come to understand that love means different things in Nigeria. Different things make people fall in love. It could be money, it could be sex, it could be for companionship, it could be for whatever reasons of which some are not really acceptable to me. The only people who have really shown me what love is, are my parents especially, my dad. If it’s the way Nigerians have reduced love to buying chocolate and ice cream, I guess everybody is in love then.

How do you deal with your male admirers?

You all know how I handle them. Since they are in love, there are always bills there to pay so they would have to run away.

It’s not like I tell them to pay my bills though, but I have seen that in Nigeria, the only way you can actually chase a man out of your life is to tell him, ‘I need this, I need that’.

For some who can actually give that, I don’t tell them to pay my bills, I don’t give them that option because I know they are ready to pay and all that, but I try to let them know I am not the kind of girl you can buy off with a gift or money. If that is the way to have a relationship, I should have about five now, but I am looking for something out of the ordinary. I’m sorry if I’m asking for too much but who am I not to.

Do you believe in vibrators?

Why do I have to get a vibrator when there are so many able men out there? It could be helpful for some people who do not have relationships but seriously, Nigerian guys are very able bodied men.

Personally, I don’t believe that. If you want to have a good sex, you should have one of your friends that you have feelings for, even if you guys are not really dating. Believe it or not, some men don’t like to be committed to a woman and don’t believe in dating.

Instead of jumping around from one place to the other with loads of people you don’t really know, it’s safer to do it with someone you know, someone close to you, someone you can actually give yourself to. Not for payment of any kind or for exchange of money.

I don’t believe in that kind of thing. I mean, if a guy walks up to me and tells me I’m going to pay you this for doing this, it might actually even turn me off. That’s why I’m me. I don’t know how other girls do that, but sex for me shouldn’t depend on how much you can give me because I may probably have sex with you but never come. I mean who wants to have sex and not come? It’s really annoying.

What would make you climax during sex?

For me, it’s really something out of the physical. It’s more of psychological than sex itself because I could have sex and not come but what makes me come is who the person is, what feelings I have for the person. That is why I can never have sex with someone I don’t have feelings for because I might not come.

If you have feelings for the person, how many times can you come in a session?

It depends on how good he is, but it’s not like it’s a must for me to come during sex. It depends on how good the guy is and I just have to like you very much for me to go down there. Most people won’t talk about this but I have to talk about it because it’s a real life situation.

I have actually started seeing someone but we’re not that serious at the moment because I’m trying not to rush things. Here in Nigeria, people feel that when you have sex with someone, the next thing is to have relationship with them but it doesn’t work that way with me. If you feel like doing it, it’s better to be safe than to just go about doing it with just anybody. When you have someone you like, I think it’s better to be safe.

What is your philosophy of life?

My philosophy of life has always been ‘Live and let live’. If I live and you live and everybody is happy, everybody goes on smiling. Another one I can’t forget is never to regret anything. I never regret anything that I do because I would have done better if I knew wiser. So, I have resolved not to regret anything I do in life. I just try to get better in anyway I can.

What more should people expect from you?

Let them expect a lot of mind-blowing movies from me. For those who have not gotten a view of my full cup size, they should sit back and relax because much of that will be coming.

There’s this thing they say that sex sells. So, even if you’re not doing anything relating to sex, it’s okay to show some few romance scenes in the movies so it can sell the movie.

You mustn’t necessarily show all your body parts but you have to wear something sensual and that’s what movie is all about. I’m not talking about porn here because I can never ever do porn but sometimes you need to constructively do your acting thing and bring it out so people can say ‘Oh wow’ and things like that.
